- The Swordfish variant shares the exact same body as Swingin' Sammy Swordfish, but the sword is usually missing unless it's stored in a safe place, similar to that of Sammy. Only 2 collectors are known to have one with the sword.
- The Blue Bass variants are the rarest.
- The songs on the silver nameplate variants are completely unknown. They were possibly recorded in a studio by people who aren't fluent in English. (Possible names are "Don't Worry, You're With Me", and "Leave Me Alone" or "Lead Me Along")
- Al's Dancing Fish's songs loop 3 times, similar to those of Starry Fish.
- There are 8 known other singing fish who use Al's Dancing Fish's recordings.
